About the Project
Finance SaaS for Business Growth
Profi2Go comes as a breath of fresh air for entrepreneurs who want to use accounting for business forecasting without having to hire a finance expert or work with a cluttered Excel sheet. Our goal was to build the first version of their SaaS as part of their product roadmap.
Problems Solved
The core functionality of Profit2Go comes from a flow of formulas designed by investment bankers. They wanted an entirely new tool based on their custom formulas, superior data visualisaton and reporting features.
Our goal was to make it easy for entrepreneurs to input data, get comparison reports, financial ratios along with financial projections up to 5 years.

We converted their custom formulas into code, and built a Laravel application that implements the flow of these formulas.
Next, we paired this backend system with a front-end design that removes confusion for users who want to manage financial data like assets, profit & loss, internal rate of return, etc.

Data Visualisation, and Reporting
We designed an intuitive dashboard UI with powerful data visualizations to help users monitor the financial performance vs. forecast of their business.
With this dashboard, a user can view multiple performance charts, and get updated on important financials numbers with a quick glance.
Easy and Guided User Onboarding
We designed a guided introduction tour for new users to make onboarding easy, help them learn fast, and discover how to make the best use of this tool for their business.

How It Was Built
Financial Projections Powered by Laravel and Superior Data Visualisation
Profi2Go is a Laravel application that uses excel-like accounting formulas in the backend for calculations and projections. All this is served to the user through an intuitive web and mobile UI that’s powered by data visualisation tools to make reporting and tracking easier.
Standardized Processes
We used the Waterfall Methodology to build this application. Our process included requirement gathering, followed by benchmarking, development, cloud setup, QA & testing, and proper documentation.
Tools Used
We used Figma for design, PHP + Laravel for backend, GitHub for collaboration, JavaScript for frontend, and Trello for project management.
